Where it Comes From

The Sun Basin

The Sun Basin is a remote valley cradled in the mountains of Missoula, MT. Wind catches words, moments, and memories, sweeps them into the sky, and settles them gently into the basin, allowing us to gather them up as inspiration and present them to Botanie, our local soap making partners. Botanie then distills the memories, mixes them in small batches with gorgeous natural ingredients, and turns out bars of soap that are good for your skin and your soul.

    THIS SHAMPOO BAR ACTUALLY WORKS

    I have long/thin hair, and I have tried (and failed) to use shampoo bars in the past, but I would not be able to get a lather going. It would kind of feel like rubbing a rock against my head without feeling like it was doing anything cleaning-wise.

    THIS soap bar is completely different. It lathered up right away and felt like a deep cleanse. Post-shower, my hair feels completely clean and smells great. This shampoo bar may have converted me from conventional shampoo for good.

    In the best way possible, the bar smell like the inside of a cabin in a damp pine forest, very earthy and woodsy.
