Where it Comes From

The Sun Basin

The Sun Basin is a remote valley cradled in the mountains of Missoula, MT. Wind catches words, moments, and memories, sweeps them into the sky, and settles them gently into the basin, allowing us to gather them up as inspiration and present them to Botanie, our local soap making partners. Botanie then distills the memories, mixes them in small batches with gorgeous natural ingredients, and turns out bars of soap that are good for your skin and your soul.

The founding goal of The Good Store is to make amazing products that donate to a good cause. One hundred percent of the profits from Sun Basin Soap go towards building the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone. We are committed to raising money not only for the construction of the hospital, but also to fund comprehensive training and staffing to tackle medical injustice at its root.

    I DIDN’T NEED TO PUT LOTION ON!!!!!

    You guys this is the real deal. I’ve tried every “moisturizing” soap under the sun, from fancy to drug store brand, and this is the best hands down. My skin feels amazing right now and so soft! No more ‘my skin is shrinking in on itself the second I leave the shower’ feeling.

    Plus it smells AWESOME, love love love the plastic free packaging, and even the shipping bag donates to a good cause? Hot diggity.

    God this review sounds like an ad read lmao but nah just a long time nerdfighter excited that all the shameless promo lived up to the hype.

    Very good soap

    This was my first true time trying bar soap, and I love it. It has great scents, feels good, and is reasonably priced for the amount of soap you get. I would suggest this to just about anyone.

    Like they were made for me.

    The scents all seem like they were tailored to my tastes, but I've only used 1 of 3 and this was my first order. The scent is real, not overwhelming and perfume. The soap lathers beautifully, and my skin feels so soft after my shower.
