Our single serve pods and packaging are FULLY COMPOSTABLE! So you can do good for the planet as well. GreenPods are made from components that have been certified for industrial compost facilities. You can compost these at home or check with your composting service to confirm they accept these as some facilities differ in what materials they can process. Our coffee pods can be used in most single-serve coffee machines. These pods do not have a barcode on them, so if your machine requires a barcode in order to make your drink, these will not be compatible.

Where it Comes From

Salgar, Colombia

Coffee can be a dirty industry. From low standards of labor practices, to environmental damage, this is a luxury that we should look at with a critical eye. Knowing this, we needed to make sure that the Awesome Coffee Club was working with ethically sourced ingredients. That is where Sucafina and the Green Coffee Company came in. Sucafina put us in touch with small farmers cooperatives and the larger Green Coffee Company to make sure that we are sourcing the highest quality beans from farms that take care of their workers and the environment. Consume consciously.

    Good coffee, great company.

    I’m not a coffee nerd, (I’m a nerd, just not a coffee nerd). Ordering was easy, delivery prompt and pods are completely compostable which is a huge win. Coffee is smooth and I made a fun at home PSL type thing by getting some Pumpkin Egg Nog which I warmed up and added to my coffee. Heaven in a teacup! We will be getting more, and you should too.

    The best quality K-cups out there!

    I like coffee, and I like convenience. I have several methods to brew coffee at home, but in the mornings I want it quick and easy, so I use my Keurig. It's usually not the best coffee, but oh well. Then I started getting Awesome Coffee Club, and it tastes like what I get at my local roasters. I recommend it to anyone who uses a Keurig, or any other method.

    Great coffee for a great cause!

    These cost about twice as much as my usual cups, but I'm very happy to spend it on better coffee that supports tuberculosis care where it's needed the most. Starting my day by opening a pod and getting that freshly ground coffee smell before I brew is something I forgot I was missing out on! You can't get that experience from the cheap plastic cups.

    Love These!

    I ordered the Single Serve pods as I am not a very fancy coffee person. My coworkers tend to prefer the Cafe Bustelo pods, but I find that brand to be a bit bitter. The Octavia pods are so smooth in taste maintaining the darker roast without any of the unfortunate kinds of bitter. It pairs well with my preferred creamer. I also love knowing that the coffee is ethically sourced, fresh, and the pods are biodegradable! The taste and cost are very comparable to other leading brands, but these come with the added bonus of funding the end of tuberculosis. I would highly recommend!!
