Why This Product

The Decaf

Decaf coffee has a bad reputation. Bland, unexciting, a sad shadow of its fully caffeinated sibling. We are looking to change this reputation with Paradoxa, a roast that lives up to its puzzling name. By using a sugar decaffeination method as opposed to harsh chemicals, we maintain the rich flavor of the coffee while removing that caffeine that has you up till 3 am. Try it out.

Where it Comes From

Salgar, Colombia

Coffee can be a dirty industry. From low standards of labor practices, to environmental damage, this is a luxury that we should look at with a critical eye. Knowing this, we needed to make sure that the Awesome Coffee Club was working with ethically sourced ingredients. That is where Sucafina and the Green Coffee Company came in. Sucafina put us in touch with small farmers cooperatives and the larger Green Coffee Company to make sure that we are sourcing the highest quality beans from farms that take care of their workers and the environment. Consume consciously.

    Good coffee for a great cause!

    This coffee was smooth and rich, and works perfectly for an everyday no-fuss drip coffee. Also love that I’m able to support such a great cause!

    My only follow up request would be that I’d love to have the roast date on here if possible.

    Perfect with milk & honey!

    If you are considering this tea - BUY IT! The first thing I noticed was how heavenly it *smells* when you open the bag!! It is also the most beautiful loose leaf tea I have ever seen! I used to grab a monster energy drink when I woke up, but now I have a new morning routine! It only takes me about 10 extra minutes to make this Blue Fields Earl Grey tea with a spoonful of local honey honey (I prefer the kind made from wildflowers, not only clover). I also add in a dash of milk sometimes. I'm definitely going to need a subscription!

    Every morning comfort

    I drink this every morning with my breakfast. Honestly sometimes I'll switch it up with chair or the breakfast blend, but I haven't used any of my other tea since getting Keats and Co. At first, switching to loose leaf was a barrier/point of hesitation for me, but now that I've gotten into it (bought a really cute little tea steeper - see below) I love that it feels more intentional and less wasteful. Plus, DID I MENTION DELICIOUS?!

    I’m telling everyone I know about this tea

    As a long time tea-bag brewer, the flavor upgrade from Keats & co loose leaf tea is actually life changing. The aroma of the tea sitting on my desk at work had people stopping to ask me what smelled so good. The strainer is very easy to use , and I like that there’s no waste from tea bags. I can’t wait to try every flavor from my sample pack, and I can already tell this tea will become part of my morning ritual. The quality of the tea plus the mission of the business makes this purchase more than worth it, and I love the reading recommendations on each bag.
