Tuberculosis is the deadliest infectious disease in the world, and yet it is preventable. So why is that? Peeling back the hastily covered cracks in global healthcare, we find the familiar faces of poverty, injustice, and systemic oppression writhing just below the surface. But familiar problems have familiar answers, which is why Keats & Co is working with Partners in Health and directing 100% of our profit from this subscription to provide long term funding for Tuberculosis in some of the world’s most affected regions. Through long term and targeted care, let's put Tuberculosis in the past where it belongs.
I love this mug and use it all the time - I like a cup that can hold a good amount of tea. I like how the color of the contents changes the vibe of the illustration. And I don't know if it IS delicate, but it FEELS delicate, so I'm naturally extra careful with it in the sink for washing. It's the first glass mug I've ever used, so maybe it takes some getting used to? It does not feel flimsy when drinking from it. The texture and weight reminds me of my glass French press, which has definitely seen some hardcore use and has still lasted a very long time.
Pictured upside down in my drying rack.
The mug is very cute, however, I do wish that the glass was a bit thicker and the handle a bit more rounded. You can really feel the heat through the glass, and the handle is a bit “sharp” (not like it would hurt you but I’m just not used to a thin handle like this). It is very cute though and I still use it all the time!!
This is such a cute little mug! It isn't thick like your standard mug today but reminiscent of mugs my Grandmom use to have. It's very delicate, but takes me back to my childhood in a way. I only hope I don't shatter it like many of my Grandmom's mugs back then unfortunately.
It is so cute and high quality! shipped fast and is just adorable. I call it frog fairytale core without frogs or fairytales.
The art is charming and beautiful in my opinion. None of my previous mugs were see through, so it's pretty neat to be able to see the coffee and tea.
My first complaint is that it feels so fragile; the glass is very thin and almost feels like plastic. I even wondered if the box it arrived in was empty. The upside is that it's surprisingly light, but those thin walls get uncomfortably hot fast with freshly brewed coffee or tea. The hot walls don't help with my second complaint.
The handle is nearly a perfect semi circle, which is aesthetically nice to look at, but holding a full cup felt precarious. It doesn't feel like it gives the best grip. I wanted to brace the bottom with my fingers or hold it with my other hand when it's full, but those thin walls make it too hot to do that.
It nice to have as part of the Good Store collection, but I'll stick to using it for cool or iced drinks.
